Alex is a rising senior at Mount Holyoke College and will be graduating in the spring of 2022 with a double major in Physics and Politics. Alex is a recipient of an NSF REU Fellowship through the 2021 BU-PRO program. She is currently working with Prof. Larkin, Joey Incandela, and Josh Jones to grow Bacillus subtilis on CMOS chips as a way to analyze its biofilm growth.

Alex is Chicago born-and-raised and knows a ton of Chicago trivia. When she's not in the lab, Alex enjoys baking and taking photos with her Instax Mini 9 Camera for her instant photo account.
